Praise for Native Species
“An entertaining SF thriller, elegantly written and imaginatively conceived. The author provides an arresting view of human nature through alien eyes, and the riveting action scenes move adroitly from evocative suspense to grisly horror…Albergo also writes in an entrancing lyrical vein in which otherness brings wonder instead of terror. The result is a page-turner that both frightens and dazzles with its portrayal of cross-species encounters.” – Kirkus Reviews (awarded the Kirkus Star).
“A cracking good yarn, utterly absorbing and thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining.” – Myrddin Young, author, The Vellum Morta
“A fun and brilliantly written read.” – Fiona Fairhurst, author, The Last Trinovante, and Blade of a Witch
“History, science fiction, and moral dilemmas collide in the most unexpected ways…it pulls you in with intrigue, but keeps you thinking long after—about identity, coexistence, and the choices that define us. A unique and thought-provoking read.” – Anjali / @Anjiscape
